Event Perk #2: Delicious FoodEvent clients may bring in their own outside food (sandwiches, desserts, etc.) but no outside caterers are allowed. See policy details below. We've done the work to make planning food and beverage for events at AXE MKE as easy as possible. Our catering partners love what they do as much as we do and deliver exceptionally delicious food every time. Just pick the package that suits your group best and your AXE MKE Event Planner will handle the rest. Please place all catering orders with AXE MKE at least one week prior to your event. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ALL EVENTS
AXE MKE General Policies
- Event prices noted above are subject to premium date surcharges at the discretion of AXE MKE.
- All guests must be at least 16 years old, and customers ages 16–17 must be accompanied by an adult.
- All guests must adhere to all rules, policies, and Axe Master instructions. We reserve the right to refuse service and revoke axe throwing privileges to anyone at any time, with no refunds.
- All axe throwers must wear closed toe shoes. Sandals and flip flops are not allowed.
- All guests must fill out and sign their own Liability Waiver prior to participating.
- No outside beverages may be brought on the premises.
- We supply and maintain the throwing hatchets. No outside hatchets or knives may be brought into the facility.
- All Bars & Recreation facilities are cashless. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. All point of sale terminals are equipped with touchless pay technology. Cash will not be accepted as a form of payment for services rendered or products sold.
Event Cancellation Policy
- All event bookings require a nonrefundable deposit in order to confirm a date, time, and event type. The deposit will be applied toward the final balance due on the date of the event.
- Deposits are specific to the event type. Events can be upgraded (subject to availability), but not downgraded.
- Deposits are date and time specific. If a date/time transfer or a downgrade is needed, a change fee equal to 50% of the initial deposit will be required.
- Events cancelled more than 24 hours prior to event start time (and not transferred to another date and time) will forfeit the full nonrefundable deposit.
- Events cancelled less than 24 hours prior to event start time will forfeit the full nonrefundable deposit, and an additional late cancellation penalty equal to 20% of the event fee will be charged to the credit card that was used for the deposit or provided via the credit card authorization form. In addition, all catering orders cancelled within 72 hours of an event will be charged in full.
Outside Food & Decorations Policy
- Food must be carried in; no outside caterers or deliveries. A carry-in food charge of $100 will be charged for food not ordered through Bars & Recreation.
- Celebration cakes may be carried in. A dessert fee of $25 will be assessed.
- All necessary items must be brought in (disposable plates, napkins, utensils, serving ware, cake knife, etc.)
- For cakes, one candle is acceptable. No sparklers or large flames.
- No silly string, confetti, glitter, or other messy decorations please.
- No outside beverages of any kind may be brought in. This includes coffee, bottled water, etc.
